As descendants of families who have been expelled from Spain (Bulgaria, Morocco, Tripoli communities), the ensemble members trace their roots through a musical journey into the realms of ancient Jewish Sefardi music. The program presents songs that are not being performed frequently as well as songs which have become much familiar to the ear. Program is refined and noble thanks to strings & voice arrangements that create magical moments. The Golden Age of Spanish Jews and the rich cultural heritage continues to evolve even centuries after the expulsion through songs  of passion, love, yearning, hope, disappointment and longing.
